CyberPsych & Code Research Project (2022)

This research project is currently in progress. A two part survey and cyberpsychology, STEM Careers, and coding mini-course to strengthen the recruitment of minority women students into technology programs and STEM careers. 

Career Motivation in Millennials and Generation Z as Predictors of Turnover and Organizational Commitment (2022)

This dissertation is a quantitative correctional study that examined if the career motivation of millennials and Generation Z moderated the predictive relationship between organizational commitment and turnover intention. Walden University ProQuest Dissertations Publishing.


Be Well South: A Mental Wellness Conversation Series (2021)

This four-part online seminar series highlighted the emotional, psychological, social well-being concerns of South Florida residents. This interactive series provided resources and support on how to handle stress, anxiety, depression, and relate to others. Presented to Catalyst Miami L.I.G.H.T. (Leaders in Grassroots Health Transformation) in Miami, FL. 

Searching for Climate Change and Cent$ (2021)

This prototype application is currently under research development. This prototype app will help people to be effective and take part in climate change with opportunities to plant trees, clean oceans, feed families, donate to charities, and more with just a few clicks.

Climate Distress Index (2021)

Principal Investigator: Dr. Jennifer Barkin of Mercer University School of Medicine. This Climate Distress Index measures how changes in the environment affects mental health and well-being. Served as an expert panelist reviewing the qualitative methodology and testing for validity.

Skills-Building Session: Internationalizing Your Psychology Life - Insights and Strategies for International Engagement (2018)

This roundtable discussion was centered on strategies to engage international colleagues, academia, and other people of interest in psychology. Presented to American Psychological Association Convention in Washington, DC.

#Professional Branding 101: From CV to Social Media (2017)

This interactive presentation highlighted the key components of a CV and how to create an online presence for professional branding using LinkedIn and Twitter. Presented to American Psychological Association Convention in Washington, DC.

Disability and chronic illness among Psychologists in Training (PITS): Impact on functioning, intersectional identities, and strategies for self-care (2017)

This roundtable discussion focused on strategies to balance academics, research, and clinical duties in addition to service and familial responsibilities as a PIT living with disabilities and chronic illnesses. Strategies emphasized self-care techniques such as mindfulness and meditation. Presented to National Multicultural Conference and Summit in Portland, OR. 

Cultural Diversity within Organizations: Exploring Impact of Ethnocentrism, Cross-Cultural Dialogue and Personal Virtues (2016)

The findings described how to effectively manage cultural diversity within multinational companies by minimizing ethnocentric attitudes and using cross-cultural dialogue and personal virtues. Presented to 22nd Annual South African Psychology Congress in Johannesburg, South Africa.
